Studio 88 Policies 

• Annual Registration Fee: non-refundable fee of $25 per student 
• Tuition: Lesson cost is $95.00/month (based on approx. 4 lessons per month). This fee can be paid by e-transfer, cash or cheque and is due on the 1st of each month.  Any payments not received by the 10th of the month will incur a $15 late fee.   Tuition is based on enrollment not attendance and secures the students place in my schedule.  
• Make-up Lessons:  Each student will be allowed one make-up lesson per year at the teacher's convenience.
• Sickness: If your child is not well enough to attend school, please do not send them to piano lessons.
• Practice Requirements: Students are expected to practice pieces throughout the week at home for optimal progress.  However the amount of practice required will differ for each student and what works best for their families schedule. Remember: Learning piano is meant to be fun!!
• Books:  Families are expected to purchase their own piano books for each student (this will be discussed ahead of time with the teacher.  She will purchase the books for each student and families can reimburse if preferred).  Music books can be purchased from JB Music in Winkler.  Kerri also has an extensive music library of assorted "fun" music that can be signed out. 
• Additional Policies: In order to keep a studio running smoothy, lessons begin and end promptly for the timeslot you are booked for.  Please drop off and pick up children on time.  Please remember your books!  The studio keeps a copy of each piano book on hand incase books are forgotten at home, however lessons run smoother if students have their own copies. 
• Parent attendance: Parents are welcome to stay and sit in on lessons. We have found that students respond better to instruction when a parent is not sitting behind them, but parents are still welcome if they are more comfortable with that.  Please make other arrangements for siblings so there are not distractions.
