Kerri has been a trusted piano instructor in Southern Manitoba for over 23 years.  Having completed her final level in Royal Conservatory of Music in 2003 as well as years of Theory study.  She has accompanied numerous choral groups and served on worship teams in her community. 

Kerri whole-heartedly believes that lessons need to be fun while still educational.  Music can only be created if you are enjoying yourself. The environment is kept light and exciting, with song selections that students love. Lessons are personalized for each student towards their interests and goals. 

Lessons are available for beginners up until RCM grade 7.  For younger students (ages 5 and up) we instruct from "Piano Adventures". Students are eventually transitioned into the Royal Conservatory of Music series.  However, Kerri has taught extensively from many other programs. 

Lessons are held weekly beginning in September and running until June. 

Students attend their lesson on the same day/time each week where we go over what was worked on at home and assign new pieces for the coming week.  Students are expected to spend time each day practicing the songs assigned to them so they are prepared for their next lesson. **It is important that students own a piano or keyboard for practicing.

Lessons are offered Monday to Thursday and run from September until June. 

Each lesson is 30 minutes long.  When registering for piano lessons, please remember that lessons are a 10 month commitment. 

The annual registration fee is $25/child (non-refundable)

Tuition for 30 minute lessons is $95/month.  This fee is based on enrollment and not attendance and secures your spot in the schedule for the year. 

Lessons are taught out of Golden Prairie Arts Council in Carman, MB in an upstairs studio.
Parents are welcome to sit in on lessons, we do ask that other arrangements are made for siblings, unless they are also taking lessons.  Please note: we do encourage parents to drop off students when they are comfortable; we have found that students respond better to instruction when a parent is not present.
